IT'S YOUTOOZ TIME!!!

That's right! The Skylanders Youtooz have finally been released! The about- 8 Month- wait has been so worth it... Now all I have to do is wait uh, 5 more months for them to arrive. Yay!

I waited at this page for, well I didn't think about how long I was waiting as I eyed down the counter, but it was only several minutes. The second the timer ran down, I gunned it to each of their pages to throw into my carts, and blasted over to the check out, and watched my bank account balance drop significantly. 

Ouch. Who knew that spending money made you lose it...

This is the total for my order in the USA. It rounds up to about $111 USD. Nice. I don't know if shipping in other countries costs more (although from what I was hearing from other Skylanders fans, it's the same worldwide.) since it all ships out of China. Personally I think $21 shipping is a little bit absurd... Can't you do that package shrinkwrap thing too..?

I think it would be a lot cheaper...

Skylander Youtooz Announcement!

    Somebody on Youtooz staff had told of Skylanders Youtooz coming out in early 2025! Just two days ago on a Reddit Youtooz AMA, a staff member was asked about Skylanders, in which they mentioned some coming out in early 2025, quote ‘Skylanders will come out early next year :]’ end quote. In the past Youtooz has had Spyro figures and merch with the Skylanders tag maybe slapped onto a few promotional posts about these, but I am hoping that we will get new non-Spyro Skylanders merch coming up past the new year. Is it gonna be figures? Plushies? Something else? Either way I’m already saving up and ready to blow as much money as possible on getting everything! I can’t even describe how excited I am in text, the most accurate representation I suppose would be:

“DHBSJHDUOHYQ*(DY/YW&YEIUNYIDIUWZY*(NYU#*(YRM(*Y” (<--That’s what I sound like right now)

And here's to me actually saving money!... I'm not very good with money...

I'm back! And so is Toys for Bob!

 Wow look at that! September already? Well I'm back in school again (For my last year too!) and with that Toys for Bob's site is finally back up! Well what did they do exactly? It's really just a site revamp...

And- wait what's that... A new game coming up? Waiting with bated breath to see what they do end up revealing... No matter what it is I'll most likely be happy and probably be first in line to buy it, love you guys Toys for Bob! Unless it's COD since I don't play games like that too often...

Toys for Bob is also celebrating Spyro Community Day! The image of Astrobot with Spyro makes me really happy, hehe... Happy Spyro Day to everyone reading this post too!

What is Toys for Bob planning..?

Recently Toys for Bob has updated their site to be a cryptic black page with their logo, so what could this mean?

I uh, actually don't know either. Some people are speculating that it may be Spyro 4 due to the purple color, others are speculating Crash Bandicoot because of the tiki mask, which is not the best assumption when the tiki mask is just the studio's logo. Either way everyone is hoping that this is the launch of a new game. Now we just gotta wait and see...

Don't get your hopes up for a new Skylanders game like me.

Toys for Bob is going indie, and what does this mean for Skylanders?

 

So last month Toys for Bob announced that they're going to become an indie studi0, they shut down their physical headquarters in California since it was too expensive to keep up, and people almost worried that TFB were going to be shutting down for good. TFB have stated that they are still in a partnership with Microsoft too, so what does this mean for any future Skylanders games?

In my personal opinion, I don't think this actually changes much for the future of Skylanders. Since Microsoft is still partnered with them they can still use IPs such as Crash Bandicoot and Skylanders.

I still hold onto some hope that a remaster is a possibility in the future, but I do doubt that there will be anything relating to Skylanders being released for years to come.

Addressing some claims going about from their post: (Note that I am not an employee of TFB and that these are just what I have inferred from research)

Skylanders is not cancelled forever but the chances of a new game are still slim

No, the fact that 'horns' are mentioned here does not confirm a new Skylanders game like some people are saying (what logic is that???)

Toys for Bob mentioning Skylanders (once) in the post also does not confirm a new game

So in the end, what does this mean? Nothing too much really in terms of Skylanders.

The chances of getting a new game is the same as before, still miniscule. But this doesn't mean that the series is done for good.
